Applications > Select Application > Select Version > Select UI Identifiers
We will be taken to the Test Cases page when selecting a Version. We need to select UI identifiers from the left navigation menu and we will be taken to UI Identifiers page as shown below:
We can do the following operations here:
- Import the list of UI Identifiers from an Excel or JSON file
- Export the list of UI identifiers to an Excel or JSON file
- Copy the UI identifiers from other versions of same Application if present
- Create UI identifiers
- Filter the UI identifiers on the basis of Name, Identifier Type, Screen Name, and UI identifiers
Import UI Identifiers
Click on the Import button to open the Import UI Identifier Dialog which appears as shown below:
Choose File: Choose the Excel file containing the UI identifiers and click on Upload button to upload the file.
Note: We need to use a specific UI Identifiers file Template for importing the data. Download and update the UI Identifiers file template with your UI Identifiers by clicking on Click here to download sample file.
Overwrite Duplicates: Select this option if you want to overwrite the data in UI Identifiers list on Testsigma when there is a clash between uploaded UI Identifiers and existing UI Identifiers.
Ignore Duplicates: Select this option if you want to ignore the data from UI Identifier file when there is a clash between uploaded UI Identifiers and existing UI Identifiers.
Click on Upload button to upload the file and import the data into the UI Identifiers list. A success notification is shown if the UI Identifier Import was successful and we will be taken to the UI Identifiers page with the newly added UI identifiers.
