When a Test Case fails, Testsigma provides a helpful error message on failed Test Step so as to understand the reason for failure. 


However, sometimes, the reason for failure is not enough to fix it and the developers would need extra details such as the Browser Console logs to understand the actual reason for failure. This extended Debugging capabilities can be enabled in Testsigma by adding a simple 'Desired Capability' in the Execution. Enable Browser Console - Extended Debugging

For Testsigma Labs and Sauce Labs

Add the following desired Capability to the Execution COnfiguration(Dry Run,Quick Run or Normal Execution):

Name:                extendedDebugging
Data Type:        boolean

Value:                true

For BrowserStack

Add the following desired Capability to the Execution COnfiguration(Dry Run,Quick Run or Normal Execution):

Name:            browserstack.console
Data Type:    String

Value:            warnings


View Browser Logs

Once the desired Capabilities are added, you can execute it. The Test Result will show up as shown below:



Click on the Logs tab and then select Browser Logs from the drop down on the right.


You may either view the Browser console logs here or Download it by clicking on the 'Download' button on right.
